This Technical Guidance Note (TGN) provides recommendations for the emergency shutdown system (ESD) arrangements, integration, data and voice communication
and interfaces for the LNG bunkering of gas-fuelled vessels. In particular, it addresses the functional safety principles of the linked ESD system to ensure a controlled shutdown of the bunkering operation in case of an emergency.
