How we work

SGMF is governed by a representative Board and driven by two principal committees, each with its separate scope of work. The technical committee focuses on technical and safety related matters whereas the environmental committee covers emissions and measurements.

Through our Board and committees, we assemble working groups with the remit to solve specific issues and produce outputs such as guidelines and checklists for the industry. The documents are then regularly amended to keep them up to date with developments in the sector.
