The Motorship Propulsion & Future Fuels Conference 2019
The Motorship’s Propulsion & Future Fuels Conference 2019 will take place from 19-21 November in Hamburg, Germany and will explore a range of topics such as:
• The final steps to 2020
• Innovations in NOx and SOx abatement
• Boosting operational and financial efficiency with scrubbers
• Cutting carbon, cutting cost to meet the 2050 deadline
• Electrifying the merchant fleet
• Gas-fuelled frontrunners
• Data-driven efficiencies
With the 2020 global sulphur cap less than a year away, operating within the constraints of the Energy Efficiency Design Index and with 50% absolute carbon reduction by 2050, alternative fuels are now an essential feature alongside shipowners’ propulsion and powering considerations.
The 2019 conference will provide senior executives with a meeting place to learn, discuss and share knowledge of the latest developments in efficient propulsion technology and low flashpoint, low carbon fuels.
It is a mist attend event for CEOs and technical directors from ship owning/operating and management companies, ship design and ship building, sector specialists from fuel, equipment and technology suppliers plus senior management and advisors from classification and policy-making organisations.
Over two conference days attendees will benefit from insightful technical presentations either in streams or plenary sessions, with the event culminating in a technical visit on day three.
